【Abstract】 Autophagy is regarded as an important pathway for renewal development and differentiation
among eukaryotic cells, which plays a key role in maintaining protein metabolism and homeostasis. As a multifunc-
tional polypeptide growth factor, TGF-β not only stimulates cell proliferation and differentiation, cell adhesion,
spreading and apoptosis, but also participates in the regulation of autophagic activity.
