【Abstract】 Geographic atrophy remains an important cause of permanent vision loss despite historic progress
have been made in managing vitreoretinal diseases over the past decade. It is a common and untreatable form of ad-
vanced age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The present review primarily focuses on the latest treatment of geo-
graphic atrophy.
