【Abstract】 Objective To understand the dynamic changes of anxiety and depression levels of non-infec-tious nurses in the care of patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), and analyze the influencing factors. Methods From January 2020 to February 2020, 58 nurses who were not from Infectious Diseases Department andwere involved in the nursing of 462 COVID-19 patients in the surgical ward, Shenzhen Third People's Hospitalwere selected as the research objects. The nurses were all given management intervention measures. The psychologicalstatus of nursing staff was assessed by Zung self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Zung self-rating Depression Scale(SDS). The anxiety and depression status of nurses in the first and fourth weeks of nursing were compared, in order toevaluate the effect of management interventions. The related factors influencing the nurses SAS, SDS score were ana-lyzed. Results The SAS and SDS scores of nurses at week 4 were (16.04±3.5) points and (13.06±3.38) points, whichwere significantly lower than (20.04±2.51) points and (19.06±2.38) points at week 1 (P<0.05). The differences in SAS andSDS scores of nurses were statistically significant with different fertility conditions, education level, length of service, knowledge of COVID-19 infection prevention and control, previous participation in handling public health emergencies, current workload and duration of experience, and self-assessment of risk of infection (P<0.05). Conclusion With the ex-tension of nursing time for COVID-19 patients and the implementation of management interventions, the level of anxi-ety and depression of nurses has gradually decreased. There are many factors affecting the anxiety and depression ofnurses, including fertility conditions, education level, length of service, knowledge of COVID-19 infection preventionand control, previous participation in handling public health emergencies, current workload and duration of experience, and self-assessment of risk of infection. Therefore, psychological intervention and counseling should be strengthenedin advance.
