【Abstract】 Objective To study the relationship between mycoplasma infection and the sanitary degree of
vaginal secretions. Methods The clinical data of 459 patients in Gynecology Outpatient Department, who underwent
simultaneously mycoplasma cultivation of cervical secretions and sanitary degree inspection of vaginal secretions,
were retrospectively analyzed. Results In 459 cases of specimen, 238 cases (51.9%) showed abnormal sanitary de-
gree of vaginal secretions (Ⅲ~Ⅳ degree), The positive rate of mycoplasma infection was 44.2%, and mycoplasma in-
fection was the main cause of female blame non-gonococcal urethritis. The proportion of abnormal vaginal sanitary de-
gree was significantly higher in the patients positive of ureaplasmaurealyticum than those negative (P<0.05) as well as
the patients positive of mycoplasma hominis than those negative (P<0.01). The prportion was significantly higher in
patients positive in both ureaplasmaurealyticum and mycoplasma hominis than those positive in ureaplasmaurealyti-
cum or mycoplasma hominis (P<0.01).Conclusion Ureaplasmaurealyticum and mycoplasma hominis infection have
good correlation with the sanitary degree of vaginal secretions. Mycoplasma infection is one of the reasons that lead to
